25 at 45

25 at 45

Appears strange! Or this is something you have experienced or experiencing?  This 25 at 45 has 2 dimensions viz., physical and mental.

In the physical form, you are 20 years older, and this brings a new set of challenges to face. As we grow old there are things we need to accept, certain things are beyond our control and hence we need to embrace gracefully. Except for few athletes or super stars, over the years we-the normal humans, do lose ability to perform certain activities that we are used at 25. Could be cycling for longer miles or mountaineering or jogging, unless of course we have consciously invested time to keep up the activities we like.  Assuming we have for various reasons – professional or personal, that we only can justify, have decided to take things as it comes. We are certainly not 25 at 45 in physical form.  This is the reality.

On other dimension on the mental agility and fitness, in the course living a normal life we have gained experience and hence knowledge in our career and personal life, which leads to position ourselves as better at 45 than at 25.  Nature has provided that innate ability to judge the situations and assess the abilities or skills required to steering our way forward.

Pause. Thank all the fortunes that have come your way, so far. Thank your family and friends, for they stood steadfast & supported you, in Your journey so far. Thank yourself for your ability to manoeuvre your way with confidence, knowledge and believing your instinct.

Now look forward..

At 65 if you have to be as 45. What will take for you to be as good 45 at 65?

Please replace the years mentioned and look at 20 years past and 20 years into future.

I have personally not dealt with the financial part, as I believe financial status is outcome of your physical and mental well being, to control those things that you can.
